Sancé / Mâcon / Burgundy

Southern Burgundy can be explored through the hills of the Beaujolais and Mâconnais, between vineyards and charming villages. Mâcon, its capital, is sure to charm you with its historic centre featuring beautiful houses with colourful facades, the Saint-Vincent cathedral, the traboules of the Rue Franche and Rue Carnot and the 15th-century Maison de Bois on the Place aux Herbes.
Just 30 minutes from the hotel, visitors can visit the not-to-be-missed Roche de Solutré and the Benedictine Abbey of Cluny.
For the more sporty, there are several greenways linking Mâcon to Chalon-sur-Saône by bike, taking you through numerous vineyards, including the famous Pouilly Fuissé and Saint-Véran... on the route to prestigious châteaux and abbeys (Tournus, Cluny).
